Who gets left with the blame if the IV robot makes a mistake? And how much does it cost to fix something like that? #hsop2012

The hospital I worked for uses omnicells and despite their benefits we were still resolving tons of errors on a daily basis. #hsop2012

@12au78 They definitely do prepare chemo. There are just often more precautions taken due to pregnancy/ desire to get pregnant #hsop2012

I've worked in pharmacies that had counting systems and ones that didn't. I would absolutely include them at my pharmacy.#hsop2012

Have there been cost-benefit analyses done assessing the use of e-scripts? #hsop2012

[09au497 @09au497]

Is this reimbursement from medicaid for escripts just for the prescriber or do pharmacies get these benefits as well? #hsop2012

As great as these computer systems and CPOE are, should we not be discussing potential downfalls of these systems too? #hsop2012

[09au497 @09au497]

How often are the alerts, order forms, etc updated to reflect new information/ changes that occur so frequently? #hsop2012

[09au497 @09au497]

Could all these alerts potentially put too much dependence on the computer system and less on our decision-making capabilities #hsop2012

[09au497 @09au497]

The hospital I worked for was just starting to incorporate CPOE and a lot of physicians were against using it despite the benefits #hsop2012
