South Africa won’t allow Starlink to be licensed, even though I was BORN THERE, simply because I am not Black!

We were offered many times the opportunity to bribe our way to a license by pretending that a Black guy runs Starlink SA, but I have refused to do so on principle.

According to the latest @StatsSA data, the total "Electricity available for distribution in South Africa" for the full year 2025 was 204,609 gigawatt-hours. What makes this so concerning? Not only is it 4% lower than in 2024, but it is also below the levels recorded in the dreaded 2023.

In 2023, Eskom reported 6,778 hours of load shedding across 335 days. The 2025 figure represents the lowest amount of electricity available in a calendar year since 2001.

This is not my area of expertise, so I can only say that I’m grateful we are not experiencing load shedding again...touch wood!

Hello @FNBSA , I am a bit confused and hope you can help. I am on level 4 on ebucks therefore qualify for 15% discount on flights.. Looking at the price on ebucks and compare it with the price on FlySafair it is identical??? Do I miss anything?
