The coffee shop on the way. It's his usual routine to take this longer route home when he's particularly tense, most usually after a fight. It's mostly to stop him thinking about it too much when he gets back, in case he breaks something. It's happened before, it wasn't fun.
Jasper was currently making his way out of the park, hands in his pockets and head low. He doesn't want to get any more unnecessary attention that leads to slightly violent outcomes. He's just focused on making his way back to his apartment, via a quick stop to grab a mocha from+
Jasper can tell that she doesn't sound overly comfortable, so he won't force her to say much else, not that he'd be able to make much conversation without it being too awkward anyway. So he just gives her a small nod of acknowledgement, before turning and beginning to walk out.+
ray’s gaze flicks to him and she takes a moment to consider her response. she’ll be nice but cautious.
“it’s alright.“ her voice is slightly nervous. she’s clearly not completely comfortable talking to him.
Jasper watches her with a close eye, she doesn't /seem/ like she's going to call the police on him on suspicion of murder, which is the worst case scenario. So that's good.
"Sorry...If I scared you-" He speaks up after a moment. He just feels that he should apologise, plus that+
It looks like, I swear-" he says, thinking that they might have seen the blood and thought he'd killed someone or something. "It was a fight, the guy ended up having a nose bleed all over me-" he tries to explain. He's just trying to avoid any potential trouble this could cause.
Jasper definitely hears the movement coming from behind the stall, assuming it may have been caused by him looking over there. He quickly makes sure the blood is mostly off his hands before drying them on his jeans, turning around to look at the stall properly.
"It's not what+
After a few moments of making sure the blood was definitely coming off, he looks into the mirror just in front of him, checking for any injuries he couldn't feel. That's when he spots the small bit of smoke coming from the stall behind him. He would say something about it, but+
watching his quick movements from the gap under the stall door. she can hear him muttering softly.
debating whether or not to put out the cigarette, she keeps her gaze trained on his feet. she doesn’t smoke often— just when she’s very stressed.
More elegant than Jaspers current state.
He's come quickly bursting into the gender neutral bathroom, going to the sink to try and scrub the blood off his hands before someone saw and got the wrong idea. It was only a fight that went more in his favour than he thought it would.
"Doesn't everyone?"
This guy is freaking him out, I mean, if worst comes to worst and he gets the chance to make a run for it, fire is always an option if he can get somewhere away from people? But that's something he'd rather not have to do-
Considering he's already living in an almost constant fear that his parents will find him again.
So he just turns back to what he was doing, trying to ignore the eyes on him.
Well, Jasper's thoughts mostly consist of "what the fuck-" at the moment, until it spirals into "What if this dude knows shit-".
He's actually quite worried, he has no idea who this guy is, for all he knows he could be hunting him down, and that's not a pleasant thought+
Jasper can feel someone watching him, his gut feeling tends to heighten with these kinds of things.
He turns to see who it was, eyes landing on Dagger. He can't tell if he's just gazing in his direction, or actually meaning to look at him though, so he decides to keep quiet.
