The most expensive lesson this space ever taught me didn’t cost me money. 🔥

It cost me time.

I watched a project build something real. Community was solid. The narrative was strong. Every signal pointed to something worth being part of. I wrote about it. I talked about it. I believed in it.

Then I hesitated.

Not because I didn’t believe.

But because I kept waiting for more certainty. More confirmation. More people to agree with me before I fully committed.

By the time the market agreed with everything I already knew the moment had already passed.

That’s the lesson nobody tells you when you’re starting out in this space.

Certainty is always expensive. It only shows up after the opportunity has already moved on without you.

The people who win in this space are rarely the smartest ones in the room. They’re the ones who learned to trust their own research before the crowd validated it for them.

I don’t wait for permission anymore.
