i finished gone with the wind in 5 months, more than one year ago while being a student and working more than half-time 7 days a week.
i spend months reading long books but i also read short stories in between but i analyze every single chapter for myself that’s how i enjoy books

i enjoy reading and i can read up to 500 pages in a day on my free days BUT i simply don’t want to. I read classics most of the time and i love analyzing and going to the depth of the story and more importantly I WANT TO REMEMBER THE STORY the details not just the main plot

i know reading a book a day in definitely not for me sometimes i don’t read for a week i don’t want make my hobby into an obligation. might be really normal to some people to read about 30 books in a month
