it was Sky commentary who kept citing reduced points and telling us the F1 points graphic was incorrect…

So, Eurovision has banned Russian musicians for political reasons. In 2019, the Eurovision took place on top of the cleansed Palestinian village of al-Shaykh Muwannis. The Eurovision Village was built on top of the Palestinian area of al-Manshiyya. Apparently it wasn't political.
