Japan tends to follow international frameworks carefully. Thursday, Friday, and Monday would make exactly three business days. A third round on Monday may not be out of the question.
If last night’s sharp drop in USD/JPY was intervention, the message may not be “160 is forbidden,” but rather: “Don’t let the market move too far, too fast, in one direction.”
What’s interesting is the IMF classification.
To be classified as a “free-floating” exchange rate, intervention is generally limited to no more than three instances over six months, with each instance lasting no more than three business days.
But this is not a law saying a country can only intervene for three days.
USD/JPY is not a safe, one-way yen-weakening trade right now.
Above: intervention risk.
Below: pressure to return to a weaker yen.
A perfect setup for getting hit in both directions.

Science may not be leading us toward isolation.
It may be leading us toward independence.
The ability to say “No” to what doesn’t belong in your life.
The freedom to choose who and what you welcome into it.
To me, that’s progress.

The sharp move in SHIB a few days ago has me thinking more seriously about altcoins.
Ethereum still feels undervalued considering everything that’s being built on it.
And community-driven coins like SHIB and PEPE are fascinating. Their value isn’t just technology—it’s also the people behind them. Part of me wants to support that.
Markets are amazing.
The more I learn, the more I want to explore other markets as well.

Looking at today’s market, there was a brief risk-off move from AI and semiconductor names ahead of earnings, but capital quickly rotated back in.
Over the past few days, it suggests the AI theme still isn’t fading.
Just my read for now.
With earnings season likely to drive volatility, I’ll keep watching closely.
I’m amazed by the intelligence of my chickens every single day.
I wonder if curiosity and intelligence are deeply connected.
They communicate without words—through eye contact, body language, gestures, and distance.
Sometimes they hum softly when they’re relaxed. Other times, they make warning calls or sounds that seem to say, “Stop!” or “That surprised me!”
They turn their backs when they need space, and later, they come back to reconnect.
When I thank them or praise them, they seem genuinely happy.
When I’m frustrated, they quietly give me space.
Each of my three girls has her own role, and they even take turns depending on the situation.
Right now, my personal theme is learning about healthy boundaries between people.
Watching these three sisters, I feel like there’s an important clue here.
I’ve noticed something interesting while practicing English pronunciation.
This isn’t linguistics—it’s simply my own experience.
When I spend time with sounds like H and W, my throat relaxes, my breathing slows down, and I naturally find a deeper, calmer voice.
It also made me realize that Japanese and English seem to use breath very differently.
To me, Japanese often feels like shorter, more segmented breaths.
English feels as if the breath keeps flowing through the sentence.
I’ve also started noticing that different letters create different sensations in my body.
L feels clear and focused.
R feels deeper and more emotional.
O feels open, spacious, almost like taking a moment to understand before speaking.
Maybe I’m not just learning a language.
Maybe I’m learning how my own voice and breath actually work.
As an English learner, Fight Club is incredible.
It doesn’t just teach me English—it teaches me how beautiful and cool the language can sound. Every line has rhythm, attitude, and emotion.
It makes me want to keep learning.

What truly happens between 0 and 1?
The border between non-existence and existence.
The moment silence begins to take form.
The instant nothingness starts to carry meaning.
Perhaps the human heart, forests, stones, and the universe
are all being born there, again and again.
English feels like rhythm, combinations, and reusable structures.
Japanese feels like sound, emotion, timing, and whether the words belong to the moment.
Maybe English needs books to keep its bones.
Japanese keeps its bones in the body.
