My name is Occurrence, and at 19, I’ve already felt the weight of a world that seems designed to keep me down. I’m currently fighting to escape a cycle of struggle in a rundown part of town—a situation made heavier by the sting of a failed military start. I wasn't able to make it through basic training, and instead of a career, I was left with a reality where I’m forced to navigate adulthood entirely on my own. Without the chance to build a foundation or even start on my credit, literally. Someone else is handling my credit and I'm powerless to do something about it. I’m now facing the crushing pressure of $1,000 monthly rent with no safety net.
This financial burden is matched only by a deep, hollow loneliness. In a job market where "now hiring" signs feel like a cruel joke, I find myself constantly adapting and changing for others, yet rarely receiving that same effort in return. I’ve spent my life being the one to bend, but I’ve reached a point where I realize I cannot build the structure I need entirely by myself.
Because of this, I am looking for the stability and network that has been denied to me. I want to be the priority for once. I’ve spent so long wondering if I even deserve to be taken care of, but the truth is, I’m tired of being strong in a world that offers no help.
Stepping into this new chapter means seeking a connection with several others who value stability, growth, and the importance of an impeccable foundation. The goal is to seek connections and benefactors who understand the challenges of starting out with very little and is willing to consider the impact I could make and the support necessary to break the cycle of struggle. This is about more than just immediate needs, it is about finding the space to finally stop merely surviving and begin the process of building a real future.
In exchange for this support, there is a commitment to loyalty, sincere appreciation, and a dedicated effort to learn and grow. The hope is to find many others who see potential where others have only seen setbacks, providing the state of mind that allows for the development of wisdom, judgment and justified morality. By establishing a bond based on mutual respect and care, it becomes possible to finally move toward a life defined by security and justification rather than needless unwarranted hardship....
