Dear community!
The year 2023 is ending (hello to those in the future who are already there), and to keep it brief: THANK YOU.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. While the year 2022 was the birth year of baby Rooted, 2023 was the year that confirmed your incredible support. It was also a year of firsts, with the launch of the first alpha phase, the first voice session with you on Discord, and the year of the first event with Halloween. Believe me, it made us sweat a bit to be on time, but your feedback has motivated us so much!

It was also the year of internationalizing the team with Zariah joining us, doing incredible work as Community Manager from Sweden. And then, it was the first time I spent a whole year without putting pressure on the Team to meet deadlines... 👀

2024 holds many surprises, and we can't wait to experience them together! We will try to fit Alpha phases 2 to 4 into the year, but always without stress. We always prioritize quality.

I could give you more information, but numbers are just numbers, and even though they are telling, one thing is much more important: your kindness.
We could never have hoped for a community as kind as you. And yet, as recent news has shown, survival games have a history that's not always joyful, and players have not always been respected.

I don't know if it's our transparency or the quality of my English (joking), but we feel carried, supported, backed in an incredible way.
Not only is the project 100% funded by you, but you also transmit incredible strength to us. Thanks to you, 2 team members moved to Montpellier (France) this year so that 2024 will be the year we inaugurate our first offices! We'll talk more about this soon, but there you have it. You are changing lives!

I could continue writing to you for hours, but I'll save some for the upcoming video that we wanted to release before the holidays, but as you know, time flies too fast.

Take care of yourself and your loved ones tonight. Remember, if you drink, don't drive. Live these last moments of 2023 as they are and welcome 2024 with lots of enthusiasm.
