Today, we’re open-sourcing Edge0 — a framework for running large AI models fully on-device.
We just heard about the copycat that rugged its community. Sorry to everyone who got caught.
We flagged this a few days ago and it's worth repeating. A lot of copycats are appearing right now, cloning our tech in a day or two. Be wary of the quick cash grab and protect your zcash:native.
We've been building on @Zcash for a long time! We shipped Zecscriptions, we stuck with it when nobody cared, we supported that community through every rough patch, and we're still here. That's the difference and it's public.
Either way, the next upgrade is coming and it'll leave the copycats in the dust.
And remember, shielded DeFi on Zcash started a week ago on https://t.co/Y21mIcf6rz. The first shielded memecoin ever is $ZECAT @ZecatZcash. That's a historical fact written on chain and nothing changes it.
Bear with us. More soon. Bullish on shielded DeFi 🛡️
I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.
Base launching a Hunter Biden extraction memecoin
Solana leadership pushing a Zcash meme
It is damn clear that both chains have completely lost their sense of identity in a desperate attempt to compete for attention with Robinhood
@SHLDdotfun has been live on @Zcash for 3 days. Here is the complete walkthrough, every step.
1. FUNDING
Zcash is a native L1 with two address types: shielded (unified) starting with u1, and transparent starting with t1. Funds move freely in both directions, no restrictions and nothing to memorise.
@SHLDdotfun settles to shielded addresses only, so use a wallet that supports u1: Zodl, Zingo, Ywallet, Zecwallet, Noir or Nighthawk. Zodl's built-in Swap bridges SOL, EVM chains and more straight into @Zcash. Once the ZEC arrives, shield it before you trade.
2. TRADING
Create a trading wallet on the platform and save the seed phrase offline. Every token you buy lives in that wallet and never leaves it. Lose the phrase, lose the bag.
- Buying: the platform generates a deposit address and tells you the exact amount to send. Send exactly that amount. After 3 to 5 confirmations the token appears at https://t.co/qryfUn00XJ. Set a refund address first, transparent or shielded both work.
- Selling: enter a receiver address and your ZEC arrives there once the order fills, transparent or shielded both work.
Note: Zodl generates a new address after every transaction. Old and new belong to the same wallet tree, so nothing is lost even if you misplace one.
3. SLIPPAGE
Orders settle a few blocks after they are quoted, so on congested blocks the price moves in between. Orders are all or nothing. They fill completely or get refunded, never partially. A fill at a worse price than the quote is normal market behaviour, not a bug. Size your trades with that in mind.
4. PATIENCE
Depending on network speed, a single trade can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours. This is the OG privacy chain and the wait is part of it.
