🚨BREAKING: Iran State Media Warns Kenya Could Join U.S., Israel War

Iran’s state-owned broadcaster, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), has sparked debate after claiming in a now-deleted social media post that Kenya possesses “strategic military reserves” that would join the ongoing Middle East conflict “at the appropriate time.”

The post, published on IRIB’s official X account, quoted what it described as an international affairs expert who alleged that both Kenya and Nigeria had military reserves that would be deployed in the conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. However, the broadcaster did not provide any evidence to support the claim or explain what the alleged reserves were.

It stated: “Kenya and Nigeria also possess strategic military reserves that will enter the field at the appropriate time.”

The post was later deleted without any explanation, raising questions about whether it had been published in error or reflected only the personal views of the analyst rather than Iran’s official position.

As of Saturday, July 11, neither the Kenyan nor Nigerian governments had responded to the claims. Iranian authorities have also not clarified whether the remarks represented the government’s position.

The statement quickly gained traction online, with many Kenyans expressing confusion over why the country had been mentioned, noting that Kenya has not announced any military involvement in the conflict. Others urged the government to uphold its long-standing foreign policy of neutrality and continue pursuing diplomatic solutions to international disputes.
