We're deeply saddened to have learned of John Blanche's passing. His immense contribution as illustrator and Art Director for Games Workshop has been an unending source of inspiration for us as fans and creators of Warhammer video games.
Thank you Mr. Blanche, for showing us the way.
I am honored to return to the God of War saga, as the composer of God of War Laufey.
I’ve been working on this for years with a stunningly talented team of developers, musicians, performers, and singers, and look forward to sharing more of all our work with you soon!
Corey Barlog says the events of 'Laufey' run parallel to the timeline of 'God of War' and 'Ragnarok'
"[It] has direct connections to everything, so that everything is part of a singular universe inside of it"
"None of this is like we're telling a side story. This is all a new chapter in the same book, a massive book, and we are starting to show that this has more than you could have imagined"

Faye
- A frost Giant, formally known as Laufey the Just
- Stayed in Midgard as the "Last Guardian" to actively fight Odin and the Aesir gods
- Brok and Sindri forged the Leviathan Axe specifically for her to counter Thor's hammer
- Actually fought Thor, a fight that shattered a valley and froze lightning in the sky
- Nearly killed Kratos when they first met, a fight that ended in a stand still
- She orchestrated her family's entire journey before she died, including the events that led to Atreus realisation that he was Loki
BuT sHe ShOuLdN't Be ThE pRoTagOnIsT 🤦♂️
She already is a damn protagonist! Game looks fucking awesome!
This woman saved Star Wars. Without her there would be no Star Wars. She went in and re-cut the trench run scene so it actually made sense after Lucas showed it to a bunch of people and they laughed at it. Seriously a legend. May the force be with you. Thank you.
You know what we should do? Draw Frieren in mutiple old paintings, as if she has gonne around the ages posing for them to pay when in need of money for grimores and food
no one really talks about how strange it feels to watch your own potential sit there untouched while you're just trying to get through the day. like you know what you could be doing, you can see it clearly in your head, but somehow your mind and situation just don't meet you there. and the gap between "who you are" and "who you could've been" starts to feel louder than anything else. and people don't see that part. they just see what didn't happen, what wasn't finished, what you "gave up on." but they don't see how heavy it felt just to keep going normally, let alone chase anything more. so you end up grieving a version of yourself that isn't gone because you failed... but because you've been trying to make it through.
