@Howitzeralone@deathbauerism As long as commodity production exists then the economy isn't planned in the sense Marx considers socialism planned, its not society itself directing the economy it's capital and it's reproduction directing the economy through the laws of economics, not the Class Party.
@Howitzeralone@deathbauerism The distinction between form of government and underlying class/economic content is what Engels rejects, the state remains bourgeois in substance until it's material basis (commodity production, the production of surplus value, etc.) is abolished by the Communist Party.
@Howitzeralone@deathbauerism Yeah that's where the sophistry comes in, as long as you claim it is a DoTP then all it's capitalist features become magically invisible, disregarding the fact the Class Party after Lenin became subservient to the state and economy, thus making it no longer a Class Party.
@Howitzeralone@deathbauerism Then that would also be the case under the conditions Engels describes when considering state ownership of the economy by the bourgeois state.
There aren't any capitalists, yet capital still directs society through the state.
@Howitzeralone@deathbauerism there's no real difference in the 2 statements:
"state controlled commodity productiond doesn't lead to capitalism" and "state control strips commodity production of its capitalist character/prevents it from forming one"
@Eric7fbc@AthelWah@NemoGoMeow "you don't get it i must flatten a class of preschoolers in my bulldozer because im so mad that im getting sodomised by the free market and might need to cut my losses and get a 9-5 or move"
@Serene_Necrosis The non-existence of a ‘sense-giving’ God is the only guarantee of the possibility of the freedom of man. The essence of man is not something fixed. Man’s essence has still not appeared in its entirety.
My German Council Republic is very funny.
Despite the KPD being the only party allowed to run, they give some spare seats to the Bourgeoisie and the farmers.
As a treat.
