I still see the Smash community use the terms "Frame Trap" and "Option Select" incorrectly. The specifics may differ from fighting games, but the principles are the same. Here are the definitions, with an example for each.

Dodge Option Select. This one is a roll back attack forward variant. First shield. Then input a roll back. Follow that input up with a forward attacking input (e.g. fsmash). On whiff, you roll back. On shield hit, you attack forward. Part of the impact OS series. #SSBU_TECH
@_DKwill@VGBC_GimR Looks like the exact tech we covered in Smash 4. "Slippedge" We used pivot tilts to then slip off the edge. Any differences @VGBC_GimR ?
Byleth's Up-B stops their horizontal momentum. This means you can up-b to survive longer without burning your double jump, giving you more mix up options.
Be careful though, unlike DJ you cannot mash up-B. You can buffer it but it seems you have to time it with 1 input.
Not sure how well known this is. But when a long lasting move hits your shield, you can jump OOS and counter it. Good esp for sex kicks, even tho you shield the move the counter still lands. Shoutout to @DingoCZ for showing me this with greninja.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm afraid that the Omega/BF forms of Garreg Mach Monastery have a LOWER ceiling than every other Omega/BF form.
Unfortunately, this will mean it can't be used in tournaments unless fixed at a later date. #SSBU#SmashBros
Be careful, if you grab the ledge with a tether, press down and tether again, despite the game giving you ledge intangibility, your get up attack options will still be nerfed in terms of intangibility.
Get up attack is now vulnerable during the hitbox!!
So, you can cancel some of byleth's bow animation with jump, but if you press jump right before landing, it cancels the bow and you land! #ssbu#ssbu_byleth#ssbu_tech
