@SharpyUltimate@Mimik_Saturn Tbh I enjoyed having an up-b that had low landing lag again similar to Brawl. That's all I wanted. Getting top 3 at every custom event was just icing on the cake lol.
@SharpyUltimate@Mimik_Saturn Lowkey I feel like a big part of the reason we kept them around was bc custom moves were announced as legal for EVO. After that event though we saw how silly a lot of them were and dropped them.

@sweetenernj Gotcha. It's like yuzu all over again where the settings need to be optimized on both sides for best performance. Which is a shame bc that adds yet another barrier to overcome (we should be used to this by now, I suppose).
Learned the hard way that the v1.0 mod with an OCed Switch still doesn't play nice with Ice Climbers.
That and general stuttering has made me consider just running 1.0.3 after all rather than v1.0.
I think my Switch is too old and temps get too hot for it to be stable tbh.
@sweetenernj Yep and I can't rely on other people running an OCed Switch is the thing. So perhaps for now it's better to settle for the common denominator if I want the most varied practice.
@sweetenernj At this point I'm just trying to find the solution that gives the most consistent smoothness + minimal stutters based on what's compatible with most players.
I had it maxed but didn't do much testing tbh.
Was fighting phirb last night (who was on v1.0.3) and we had a ton of issues. Could just be IC's being problematic. But had issues with 2-3 other players with stutters last night as well so I'm guessing it was related to the OC not performing as expected.
Could just be that I had to tinker with it more and fine tune it perhaps.
