We got to know about the tickets just 10 mins before the start time. We got a couple of tickets and were waiting patiently in a queue. The moment the gates opened, it was mayhem.

People barged in from all sides. They literally crashed the barricade. They didn’t care about women or kids. They just kept pushing people in the front. People around me and I were shouting that this is ticketed entry and asking people to come in a queue but not one person listened. A guy literally said that there’s no ticket for all this and ran in. Once we went in and we could see people climbing up the walls, getting on the police van and standing on a car.

I don’t know how to react. I mean what are you even going to tell the family who lost their own today? This is not the celebration I wanted. This is not why I waited 18 years.
