We are the actiongroup called ‘0.7’. We fight for the labour rights, social safety and career perspective of academic employees on temporary contracts.
We recommend this podcast about precarity in Dutch academia. Mostly in Dutch but parts in english. If we want a less elitist university, we have to end precarity!

And if UNL refuses to level wages AGAIN, we repeat that we are fine with cutting costs by having them all be paid a maximum of 70 percent of the hours they work. Max 0.7 contracts for managers!
We urge everyone to sign this petition! With or without budget cuts, the absurd high wages of professors and managers come at the cost of those in precarity being laid off. https://t.co/37q5VBE401

@CarelStolker is only enthusiastic about academic freedom when it pertains to whitewashing a genocide (or protecting overtly fascist professors). A morally confused man, who has never moved a finger fighting the good fight. Just go, and let us clean your mess in peace.

We want accountability from Radboud and the police. This is not an isolated incident. It represents the increasing draconian approach to protest on campus and cosy relationship between uni and the police. Please sign and spread this letter started by staff https://t.co/S667VR8KXR
On Monday six staff and students (me inc.) were hunted down on a bus, arrested, and held for 30 hours in isolated police cells at the direction of @Radboud_Uni security. For nothing other than the crime of wearing a kufeya. It was deeply traumatising for all (1/2)
@Radboud_Uni To the CvB’s, we want to reiterate that which should be common ground:
- No cops on campus
- No filing of reports for property damage with the police
- No sending cops after university staff and students
Facilitate protests on campus
- Cut the ties!
In solidarity,
0.7
0.7 statement. Radboud, we DO hold you responsible!

This week, a public transport bus in Nijmegen going from the university to the city centre was stopped, and everyone wearing a keffiyeh was arrested.
@Radboud_Uni We should never allow our CvB’s to imagine themselves as our bosses, as autocrats of our institutions, as academia themselves. They are facilitating staff, and they should be forced out of office the moment they turn against the very values that academia is built on.
