The eyes in 6 look less "alive"
and the lighting looks more like an add-on instead of an enhancement to give you depth.

DOA 5 has more depth...

@asr7c motion capture was used too, yes, but I 2000 the tech was very rudimentary and didn't fit the standards for quality they desired with the FMVs. I think it payed off. They're absolutely timeless.

@asr7c The fmvs in OG 2 (and 1) are all animated by hand, by one guy. sorry his name escapes me currently but he said for 2s more 'personal' narrative; the facial expressions should be telling everything you need to know storywise. I'm pretty sure he slept at the offices for weeks.
