Of course, we see every leader and every country that responds to Russia’s strikes on Ukraine. But the only strong and just response – the one that truly achieves its goal and helps people – is additional support for our state. The world has Patriot missiles. What matters now is for our partners to make the political decision to provide the necessary packages. The United States knows what we need. Europe knows what we need. Anti-ballistic missiles must protect people – not sit in stockpiles. And every day without this vital assistance gives Russia another chance to kill our people.

And right now, the response must also include additional and real sanctions. Every legal entity, every individual helping enterprises in Russia produce ballistic weapons – launchers and missiles – or supplying components and everything else they need – must all be sanctioned, not only by us, but by our partners as well. There are still gaps in the G7 jurisdictions. The fuel sector – everything helping Russia restore its oil refining capacity right now – must absolutely be stopped.

The first constellation laid down in the heavens was Taurus — the Bull of Heaven.

Ancient. Already watching when the spring equinox still rose between its horns. To the Babylonians it was GU₄.AN.NA. To the early Hebrews it was the first of the Mazzaroth. One of the oldest patterns still visible to the naked eye.

Beside it stands Orion, the shining hunter. In the oldest stories the two are locked in confrontation — the hero facing the Bull of Heaven. In later Greek tellings, Orion pursues the Bull across the sky, or chases the Pleiades that rest on the Bull’s shoulder. They share a border, forever fixed in that tension.

At Orion’s foot begins the long sky-river Eridanus. Its first bright star is Cursa (Beta Eridani) — a soft yellow-white double star whose ancient name means “the footstool of the Central One.” It serves as the step-stool beneath the shining hunter before the river winds its way south, all the way to Achernar at the far end.

And at that far end, near the bottom of the world, sits the last constellation: Mensa — the Table.

In the 1750s, French astronomer Nicolas-Louis de Lacaille mapped the southern sky from the Cape of Good Hope. Under the shadow of the great flat-topped mountain that dominated his view, he placed a new constellation and named it Mons Mensae — Table Mountain. The only constellation named after a real earthly landmark.

Locals had long watched the mountain gather its famous “tablecloth” — a thick white cloud that settles across its summit when the southeast wind blows. Lacaille saw the same thing written in the sky. The Large Magellanic Cloud drifts across Mensa like that same tablecloth, a soft galactic fog draped over the celestial Table. Beside it floats its smaller companion, the Small Magellanic Cloud. And at the very end of the long sky-river Eridanus sits the brilliant blue star Achernar — “the end of the river” — standing between them like a solitary beacon at the edge of the world.

Russia continues to terrorize Ukrainian cities, leaving death and destruction in its wake.

▪️ In Kyiv, a Russian attack killed nine people, including a 22-year-old police officer. 30 more people were injured, among them children. Extensive damage across the city.

▪️ One person was killed and six more were injured when a Russian jet drone struck a marketplace in Brovary, Kyiv region.

▪️ In Kherson region, one person was killed and 26 more were injured, including a child.

▪️ A 63-year-old resident of Sumy region was killed when a Russian drone struck the car in carrying him and his family.

▪️ In Dnipropetrovsk region, a man and a teenager were injured.

Residential buildings, businesses, shops, and infrastructure were damaged.
