@MarvelousMrToad@StudioNatsume Yeah you 100% did not watch the movie lol 😆 I think you're the one looking stuff up on Gemini. Idk if that happens in the book that definitely isnt in the movie
Remember when people called Forgotten Island woke because of their haircuts?
Wildwood has a gay kiss, the father acknowledges "they" as a person's pronoun, and the movie glorifies stealing as long as its from rich people.
Forgotten island doesn't have any of that and it's actually a good movie about friendship, it has music all throughout it unlike wildwood, and the animation is vibrant and cool looking instead of ugly and drab looking like wildwood.
Idc if Wildwood took 15 years to make. That's not impressive, it's embarrassing because it's just a generic story that is boring, ugly, and woke
But when Forgotten Island made 16% of it's budget back in 48 hours, you put the actual numbers instead.
You put how it was one of the worst openings ever for Dreamworks but not that Wildwood was for Laika as well.
STOP THE DOUBLE STANDARD!
@TheAutisticCats The plot is generic lazy writing aimed at children with talking animals and then introduces them to querness, communism and suicide. It is a net negative. Nothing good comes from this story.
@TheAutisticCats There is something more interesting about when referencing creepy things like in tim burton films. I agree 3d animation would not be better for that. This story might've benefited more from 3d animation but idk because the story was pretty dull as well
@TheAutisticCats You named 2 classics that were great for their time when animation was in 2D. Now 3d animation looks so much better that its not practical. Look how long it takes just to be ugly.
