🚨BREAKING: Moses Moody underwent a successful surgery on his patellar tendon.
Moody's injury is likely to take at least a year for a full recovery. Dr. Nirav Pandya, a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at UC San Francisco and the director of Sports Medicine, revealed his thoughts on the injury.
He shared his opinion on how long the Warriors guard will remain out.
“The important thing to note is that it’s a 9-12 month recovery, the patellar tendon is important for jumping and explosive activities, and what occurs during surgery is that the patellar tendon is repaired, which restores the tendon, and allows it to basically function and bring the kneecap back to the proper position.”
Pray for Moses 🙏

🚨Mike Dunleavy states Steph Curry shutdown is unlikely, but can't be ruled out🥺
General manager Mike Dunleavy told the SF Standard’s Tim Kawakami on “The TK Show” that he would be surprised if the Warriors star was held out until the play-in tournament but acknowledged it’s a possibility.
“It would be very, very surprising,” Dunleavy told Kawakami. “But, you know, I'm not going to rule anything out; I'm not a doctor, and things can go a certain way. So, I don't want the headline to be Steph may be done for the year because I'm not ruling it out, but just because he's not playing right now, I just have to acknowledge that I'm sure there's a chance, but we don't expect that.”

"One man's trash is another man's treasure"
The Golden State Warriors never believed in Jonatahan Kuminga's potential.
If they did, their expectations were unrealistic.
Through his first 3 seasons with the Warriors, Kuminga improved his production.
But once he showed just a little sign of regression in his contract year, the Dubs decided to bench him to create 2 possible outcomes:
- Prevent him from getting injured so they could trade him
- Lower his free agent value in the offseason to negotiate a cheaper deal
The Warriors managed to sign Kuminga to a 2-year deal.
He started the first 12 games of the season then missed the next 7.
From there, the same cycle repeated itself.
Kuminga plays spot minutes a few games > Gets 5 DNP (coach's decision) > starts a random game > 5 DNP (coach's decision)
The reality is that Kuminga shouldn’t have been battling Gui Santos for minutes.
He shouldn’t have been looking at Anthony Lamb or JaMychal Green getting stretches while he tried to find rhythm.
Now he's a member of the Atlanta Hawks.
In his first three games, he's been on fire
🔥27 PTS / 7 REB / 4 AST
🔥17 PTS / 9 REB / 3 AST
🔥20 PTS / 7 REB / 3 AST
🔥3-0 record
Most (if not all) players that manage to make the NBA have the potential to be a star.
But if the coach and player don't see eye to eye, what looks like regression is really restriction.
The star the Warriors tried so hard to contain has finally been set free.
