INSANE: Meet Tis D'Ascoffon, a French woman who was subjected to sexual violence by a Muslim immigrant who stalked her to her apartment, locked her inside, and attempted to rape her.

Two years later, she gave an interview to French television, recounted the rape attempt, and stated that the main danger to women in Europe comes from "immigrants, black people, and Arabs."

Left-wing forces were outraged and filed a complaint against her for racism. She was charged, brought to trial, and several weeks ago a court in Paris found her guilty and fined her 1,000 euros for her words.

A woman who was subjected to sexual violence by an immigrant ends up in court years later for speaking the truth about sexual violence against women in Europe.

In 2015 Lenovo shipped laptops with software that broke HTTPS for every user.

Installed deliberately for ad revenue.

Lenovo pre-installed a piece of adware called Superfish on consumer laptops starting September 2014. Its purpose was to scan every image you view on the internet and inject ads for similar products.

To do that on HTTPS pages, it needed to intercept your encrypted traffic.

So it did something catastrophic.

it installed itself as a trusted root certificate authority on your laptop. Meaning your browser treated Superfish as a trusted source of certificates, the same level of trust as VeriSign, DigiCert, or your bank's own certificate authority.

Everything you did over HTTPS- banking, email. shopping. medical records was being decrypted by Superfish, analyzed for images, and re-encrypted before it reached you.

then it got worse.

Every Lenovo laptop shipped with the exact same certificate and the exact same private key.

The password protecting that private key was cracked in three hours by Security researcher, Rob Graham (Errata Security).

The password was "komodia."

The name of the Israeli company that made the code.

Once cracked, anyone with that private key could impersonate any website to any Lenovo user on earth. your bank. your email. any HTTPS site. a fake page would show a valid padlock and your browser would trust it completely.

Lenovo's initial response: "we have thoroughly investigated this technology and do not find any evidence to substantiate security concerns."

Then the password was posted publicly online.

Lenovo paid $7.3 million to settle the class action lawsuit.

The EFF called it "catastrophically irresponsible."

Han het Håvard Pedersen, og var bare 18 år gammel.

Han var fra Vadsø. En blid og omgjengelig gutt som alltid var i godt humør og smilte. Klassekamerater beskrev ham som en som hadde en helt unik personlig utstråling. Storebroren Henning kalte ham sitt største forbilde – en gutt full av kjærlighet til dem rundt seg. De to var «salt og pepper».

Håvard var russ det året. Han jobbet på Coop Extra / Byggmax i hjembyen sin.

Lørdag 14. juli 2018 sto han på jobb da en asylsøker som hadde oppgitt å være 17 år og fra Afghanistan, kom inn i butikken. Uten noen foranledning gikk han til angrep på Håvard med en tapetkniv. Håvard fikk strupen skåret over og ble erklært død kort tid etter.

Angrepet var helt tilfeldig. Håvard hadde ingen relasjon til gjerningsmannen. Han bare gjorde jobben sin.

Gjerningsmannen ble funnet å ha vært psykotisk og utilregnelig. Han ble dømt til tvungent psykisk helsevern. Det var også tvil om både alder og nasjonalitet.

Kirken i Vadsø var fullsatt da de tok farvel med ham.

En 18 år gammel gutt fra Vadsø. Blid, godt likt, full av liv. Drept på jobb uten grunn.

Han bare skulle jobbe. 🇳🇴
