𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐞𝐬 is a fully onchain pixel art collection on Ethereum that’s taking a different approach to the traditional PFP model.

Instead of launching with a finalized collection, it gives the community the opportunity to influence what eventually gets minted.

Every Wonkie is built from three layers, body, eyes and mouth.

The project begins with 100 bodies, 100 eyes and 100 mouths, but only 80 of each will make it into the final collection.

The remaining traits become part of the Unstable Library, while the community helps shape what eventually becomes the final Canon before mint.

❖ 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐈𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬

Through WONKLAB, participants get one opportunity to interact with an unfinished Wonkie.

They can redraw a layer, swap a layer or keep it unchanged.

Rather than relying on public voting, Wonkies uses community behavior to determine which traits survive into the final Canon.

Wonkies isn’t trying to reinvent pixel art, it’s rethinking how a collection is created.

By combining community participation with CC0 licensing, the project turns the pre-mint phase into an experiment in collective creativity.

We like that Wonkies focuses on participation rather than hype. Giving the community a chance to shape the collection before mint makes the project feel more collaborative than most upcoming PFP launches.

The @TheGodPull mint date is officially locked for July 27 on @opensea, the hand-curated God List WL community keeps growing and @betty_nft has been hinting at an addictive gamified ecosystem where players collect omens, hit the God Pull and earn royalty rights until someone else claims them.

With the mint date now confirmed, the next big wave might be Art & Content Creator Contests, followed by the full rollout of the gamified royalty mechanics.
