@GithubProjects This is exactly the direction we're building toward.

An AI agent shouldn't just answer questions. It should remember, act, communicate, and know when to ask for your approval.

Optimus and WhatsApp are just the beginning.

The next wave of capabilities is already taking shape...

The biggest mega release of mercury agent

My personal best: optimus ❤️

[Mercury @mercury__agent]

Released Mercury 1.4.0, "Pluggy Mercury" ☿

Plugins are here. The first 2:

• WhatsApp: chat, or talk on a voice call. It can even call you.
• Optimus: Mercury uses your computer. It sees the screen, moves the mouse & types like a person.

Open source. macOS, Windows, Linux.

🚨 Just in: Capcom confirms massive data breach, exposing 11.77 million CAPCOM ID records worldwide.

Hackers accessed user emails and account information, and changed passwords on 196 accounts.

@GrokBotRadar Lets add @mercury__agent to the list

@GithubProjects @grok Well, Grok just settled which one is the secure harness. We'll take that.

For anyone curious, that's Mercury Agent. Open source, memory-native, with persistent bots and permission-aware execution.

Don't take our word for it.
Check it out yourself:

@mercury__agent Tried a research → write → fact-check pipeline as a fleet. It came back with sources cited and the claims checked, while I was doing other stuff.

This is how agents should work.

Mercury Agent now has Bots 🤖

Spin up a fleet: one lead bot, a crew to get things done.

→ Survive restarts
→ Own thread, sandbox & journal
→ Work in the background while you chat
→ Lead plans, crew executes, results return to you
Live in v1.3.0 🧵👇

@HuggingModels One of the best thing about mercury agent is that its the only AAA category harness that supports lower end devices natively.

🚨 A coding agent just built Flappy Bird on an Android phone. Then I played it on the same phone.

No laptop. No cloud. No remote server.

Mercury Agent /code + a local model wrote the code directly on Android and launched the game in the browser.

[Zaid ☿ @0x5A1D]

@mercury__agent Mercury, we need to talk.

Some AI bot just sent us money, and now you're publicly defending AI employment.

Did you sell us out?
