We'd love your feedback. Give GasDock a spin and let us know what you build with it.
🧵 Introducing GasDock - an open-source SDK that lets users execute transactions on any chain while paying gas from any chain.
No bridging. No swapping. No network switching.
Here's how it works 👇
5/ GasDock is fully open-source and ready to build on.

📢 An important update from us: BlockDeep Labs is winding down its blockchain consulting services business.
This means we won’t be taking on new custom development or support projects going forward.
We’re truly grateful to everyone who trusted us, worked with us, and supported our work over the years.
We’ve shared an update on our @Polkadot JS maintenance work, including our contributions and our planned step-back at year-end.

🚀 Introducing Efímero: Disposable Parachains on @Polkadot
Short-lived, purpose-built chains that make airdrops, mass onboarding & gamified campaigns frictionless.
No deposits. No storage bloat. Just pure user engagement.

We’re excited to be at @Polkadotsub0 Buenos Aires, Polkadot’s flagship dev event.
Our senior engineer Emiliano Zapata takes the stage today at 14:20 (local time) to present Efímero: BlockDeep’s implementation of disposable rollups.
@CryptoCappex There are no new updates from our side. The implementation has been completed in accordance with the RFC, and the PR has been handed over to the code owners, who will determine the timeline for merging and deployment.

Update on RFC-0097: Staking Unbonding Queue - After completing the implementation, we've addressed all review comments and feedback provided so far.
The PR has been handed over to the code owners for future merging in line with the SDK roadmap and release cycles.
A big thank you to the OG Rust Bounty for the opportunity to contribute to this important feature in the @Polkadot ecosystem. 🙌
📢 Hey @Polkadot community, here comes another update on the RFC-0097: Staking Unbonding Queue implementation.
We’ve completed the implementation of the updated design, and the initial code review by the code owners is done. Feedback from this first round of review has also been addressed. ✅
We're now awaiting further reviews from the code owners and look forward to getting the PR merged soon. ⌛️
🎉 Absolutely thrilled to see @PolkadotDeploy spotlighting Efímero: disposable rollups on @Polkadot!
Integrating it as a PDP feature would make one-click deployments a breeze for builders. The Efímero node template already handle zero-deposit onboarding & merkle-proof claims, primed for a great UX. 🚀
Efímero by @0xBlockDeep takes Shawn’s original concept forward:
🥳 Zero existential deposit → easier onboarding.
🫴 Pull-model airdrops (users claim via Merkle proof) → no wasted tokens.
💸 Assets move back to permanent chains (e.g., AssetHub) via XCM before the chain retires.
Polkadot is already known for its scalability, interoperability, and security.
Efímero adds another layer: flexibility.💪

🚨 Polkadot SDK recently retired SignedExtensions.
After 5+ years, one of Substrate's core concepts is being replaced by TransactionExtensions.
If you're building on @Polkadot and haven't heard about this, here's what changed and why it matters for you: 👇

The complete technical breakdown covers:
- Architecture shift that changes everything
- Code examples (old vs new)
- Migration strategy that works
- Edge cases that break production
- Why this separates pros from beginners

Here's the part that'll surprise you:
The migration isn't just "find and replace." There's hidden complexity that can break your entire transaction flow. We discovered this the hard way but you don't have to.
