@irentdumpsters I understand fully, you explained the entire thing in a long thread an I pointed out the weakness in that strategy so people can decide if they want to do something like that.
@irentdumpsters If you open a second location for the main business and use a new phone for it, that should be plenty enough for Google to give you most of the same benefits other than that keyword stuffed name. On the flip side you get to brag about 2 locations, be aligned w customers, and
@irentdumpsters example, pool builders, A/C, etc must register with DBPR or they put their license at risk. AFAIK a GC can qualify 2(?) co’s, so it’s possible you could do this one time with one extra city, but it’s a very questionable business practice for someone with a state license to risk.
@irentdumpsters are 2 big things working against that- a different company besides your main one is being promoted (instead of making a second location for your main business and looking 2x more dominant in your market) AND when someone calls the dummy company “WPB Plumbers” you then have to
The most annoying thing @apple did in the new iOS update is replacing the button that used to approve/save a screenshot (top left) with the one that cancels it. Every time I ss now, I cancel it out and have to redo it.
@realEstateTrent It’s funny how much they are hated yet Xero and others are only chipping tiny pebbles off of their market share. Why are people lining up to be slaughtered? Is QB the BDSM of SaaS for businesses?
$3.00 looks like the winner.
Until you pull into the lot and realize it’s only with some special BP credit card. GG
First one to have the sign say $0.00 with the tiny subtext that says “with a coupon for $3.15 off per gal” wins.
@gas_biz
Don’t fall for the newest gas station trick.
Gas stations often compete on price. Cheapest one gets more customers.
Sure there’s other factors, location, convenience store, etc but a lot of people don’t care about the brand and just look for the cheapest gas.
So what do
you do if you’re surrounded by other stations?
This guy figured it out.
Find a way to show a lower price.
Looks super obvious zoomed in, but when you’re driving and see $3.15 and 3.17 on other stations and then glance at this one…
Finally looked up #hurricane ratings. They’re inconsistent but at least the numbers tell you which one is worse.
Cat1: 75-95. Range 21.
Cat2: 96-110. Range 14.

#Milton 180. Arguably pushing into a new category.
@shawngorham Here’s a medical office in S.FL. All the recent reviews (in last 4-6mo) are 1 stars complaining how downhill it’s gone since selling out to PE.

@shawngorham PE is rolling up all kinds of businesses they aren’t involved in & usually don’t care about beyond generating profits from the deal. Seems to only benefit owners looking to exit. Customers always lose. Employees are a mixed bag.
