Core: A Bitcoin-Aligned, EVM-Compatible Layer 1 Blockchain

Core is a Bitcoin-aligned, EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain. It secures its network through Delegated Proof of Work (DPoW), Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS), and Non-Custodial Bitcoin Staking. Bitcoin miners and holders can delegate their hash power or Bitcoin to Core validator nodes to earn rewards. Core aims to be Bitcoin's smart contract platform, expanding its ecosystem. It currently has over 26.9m unique wallet addresses, more than 300m transactions, and a TVL exceeding $646 million.
