@RobertGreene What might Leonardo da Vinci (or another polymath of your choosing) be doing in today's society if he were in his 20s now? Let's just assume he is living in the United States
7) E-COLLAR - She's already been trained on an e-collar, but I'm reconditioning the page/vibrate to mean come to heel. This dog had tons of pent up energy that has to be released and she needs freedom to explore. This means off leash fetch, hikes, and walks where permitted.
What your future self is screaming at you:
Quit that job
Start that business
Exercise everyday
Stop eating shit food
Work towards big goals
Call your family more
Go on more dates with your spouse
Most mornings I take my 1-year-old dog for an off-leash walk at sunrise. Today I realized this truth applies to both humans and our dogs:
๐๐ถ๐๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฝ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐พ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ผ๐บ.
She's free because she's disciplined:
โข Comes immediately when called
โข Heels until released
โข Checks in when off-leash
โข Waits on command
โข Points instead of chasing small animals
With training comes freedom. Thank you @jockowillink for this universal lesson.
If family, fitness, and freedom define true wealth, then a typical salaried job is its opposite.
You trade time with loved ones for long days away, sacrifice health by sitting all day in artificial lighting, and work to build someone elseโs wealthโnot your own.
Progress comes from:
1) Carving out time
2) Deep focus
3) Unstoppable momentum
Negativity is a distraction, stealing your energy and focus.
Guard your mindโit takes willpower to overcome whatever negativity you allow in.
Poor mindset: "Iโll save money by figuring it out myself."
Wealth mindset: "Iโll invest in coaching to save time and learn faster."
Time is your most valuable currencyโspend it wisely.
When training your puppy, keep this top of mind: What is my dog learning right now?
Dog parents often unwittingly reinforce unwanted behaviors. It may be affection at the wrong times (jumping, barking) or allowing loose positions (forging heel, sitting up in a downstay).
Your puppy is constantly being rewardedโReward it for the desired behavior.
