AI is not just lowering the cost of building. There's also the cost of building the wrong thing convincingly.
The graveyard of polished, fast-shipped products nobody needs is about to get very crowded.
The real edge now is taste.
What EthCC events shouldn't I miss? π
I feel like there's not one platform that covers all side events.
@CryptoNomads_gm, @serotonin_hq, @LumaHQ, what else?
@george__mack I took that bet years ago. But as industries mature, 'wordless' careers carry more risk. Established career paths provide clarity to the employer, whereas wordless ones do not, which significantly increases the perceived risk from an employer's perspective.
@hooftly@uttam_singhk I agree that the traditional system is moving far too slow. That's a different issue and the solution is not: replacing it with AI. I still think in person education + careful and responsible AI use = learning on steroids (> one or the other in isolation). I respect your POV tho
@hooftly@uttam_singhk I'd argue most people can hardly objectively evaluate if they are using AI correctly or not. Hence, there's a hurdle in using it responsibly, knowing the negative impacts etc. There are more negative implications than pure learning efficiency.
@hooftly@uttam_singhk yeah well, should be... In the meantime, let's look at the status quo of things. And even if it were the case, it would still not eliminate the other negative implication of self-educating with AI
@hooftly@uttam_singhk to mitigate the negative effects I have listed as reply further above. The best effects on learning and development are proven to be a combo of personalized AI use + traditional IRL education.
@hooftly@uttam_singhk Perhaps. In the interim, if the majority is 'misusing ' AI, it becomes a systemic issue. Users must be taught to leverage AI effectively while mitigating its negative effects. Who's best suited for the job? Expert professors sharing their research. AI? less so
