The desire to snuff out Assange is shared by both parties. It was the admin of "I love WikiLeaks" Trump that tried to have him assassinated and is why he's in prison. Both parties want him dead bc they have the same masters.

What are your thoughts on a roadmap to achieve this? Highlighting public good infrastructure and decentralised court systems like Kleros seem like a good path, but increasing regulations and laws hinder their adoption.

We need a nation that is open to experimenting with more directly tying crypto governance and economic solutions into the organisation of society to show the world that it can be better; or to form one ourselves.

Hi Peter, love your podcasts, conversations, and the guests you have on, which is why I'm surprised at this take.

The world is not black and white, and you have been propagandised to believe that Putin is an evil invader who wants to take over the world. Finland's next, Poland after that, then WW3, right? This is a complex conflict that has been decades in the making - it's a proxy war between the US & NATO, and Russia, and they've been more than happy to sacrifice Ukrainian lives to continue it despite an early peace agreement being on the table (which was rejected by the West, resulting in the death of an entire generation of Ukrainians, while displacing millions more).

Is Putin a force of good? Probably not. Is the US undeniably as evil/more evil? Yes. We can point to several hundred events in recent history which prove this. People should hear both leaders and make up their own minds instead of believing whatever narrative they hear. Quite surprised that you have landed in the latter category on this issue.

Hopefully, we'll achieve more peaceful times through journalism and free press. War is unpopular when the public isn't lied to.
