Airdrops made my life in crypto way easier and saved me from my own mistakes multiples times

2022: Down -50% from my first cycle ATH

2023: I am in the last year of my master and I spend time Sybil farming Arbitrum airdrop. I get 10+ wallets eligible
I even teach a class mate how to do it and he makes $30k
I should have gone harder, but it is what it is, it sends me back near my 2021 ATH at bottom of the bear.

2023/2024: I decide to focus on ZKSync and other shitty L2s, but I then move quickly to ZKSync & LayerZero mostly.
My friend tries to Sybil both very hard with low quality interactions.
I believe everyone will do this thinking they will use Arbitrum criteria. I decide to just use multiple High quality main wallets.

I get maybe $15k on L0 (big fail), very good airdrop on my main ZKsync wallets. At the same time I « farm » Starknet a bit but the chain is unusable. With good quality wallets it was a good drop, but I only get a few k$.

I don’t really know when, but I also get a fat $PIXEL airdrop, it was worth $80k at the top but I sold for $20k. Bad decision.

2025: I miss a DM asking me to try this new platform «Hyperliquid » but I eventually catch up. I make some volume over time. I am not a trader but I can tell the platform is better then the others so I refer some people who are traders (or not). I should have spammed this ref link way more in insight lol.

At that time I am also making some good moves but I am also always round tripping. A good example was a 30x on $POPCAT that I sold for a 5x at the end. I still made profit but my brain counted this as net worth even tho I didn’t take profit. Lesson learned.

During the last 3 years I only held $HYPE when it comes to real investments, and a bit of $ETH. 90% of my wins came from airdrops, and they allowed me to be in good profits from this cycle even this though I made big mistakes on the way.

The funny thing is, from the very beginning of this post, Arbitrum airdrop, to where we are now, people were always saying airdrops were dead. Even in 2022/2023. And yet every year we had at least one banger airdrop. And it’s gonna stay this way.

Keep the faith, keep clicking. The game changes but not the outcome.
