attn voyagers

“Due to high demand (and because not everyone could make it to Apefest) we're going to do a tokengated version of Nexus & Chill for everyone with Otherside assets this Thursday”

[Crock @crock77]

Huge thanks to @imjameshall @pm0721 @cryptosanteezy @spicytinaa and the team for the live demo at ApeFest tonight. This is a team that loves their community and is building for them. Honestly, what I saw has me so excited for the next major release. See you on the @OthersideMeta voyagers.

So fucking proud of the people building @OthersideMeta. We got to see a little preview to what’s coming and I will not share anything here but there is one detail they shared that’s already public.

Gathering resources takes time.
Crafting takes time.

You can sell resources as ERC’s and you can sell crafted items as NFTs. People will choose whether to spend time gathering resources and crafting items or just buy the crafted items.

Imagine a mythic arcade machine (featuring Mudwater) which takes days to craft and tons of resources. You could spend time gathering resources & crafting the item or you could buy it. It’s simple but the way Otherside is achieving this is amazing.

Thank you @pm0721 @imjameshall @cryptosanteezy @spicytinaa @NGBxShpend for the epic demo ApeFest. Cinematic as fuck and vibes are immaculate. Kodas look OP!!!!

How to win a game of Mudwater in Otherside

[Bored Ape Yacht Club 🍌 @BoredApeYC]

Eight cards are serialized cracked-ice 1/1s.

The grails of the set, and the ones to chase.

[figge @mfigge]

all bayc & mayc have been airdropped a token that allows holders to claim an allocation of Mudwater

there's been a lot of talk about alignment between projects and collectors

we want to experiment with a new model:

trading on this collection implements a 2.5% $APE Reflection, which is a trading fee used to buy apecoin and distribute to pack holders

hold more packs get more apecoin

the reflection and the creator royalty % are the same

so we're 50/50 with holders

let's build this together

[Bored Ape Yacht Club 🍌 @BoredApeYC]

Mudwater is an old game played deep in the Everglades.

Instead of dice in alleys, we play Mudwater on the docks.

The game is simple, but the skill ceiling is high.

And we play for keeps.

We've just airdropped this 6551 Totem, paired to all BAYC & MAYC, enabling pack claims.

[OpenSea @opensea]

apefest. that’s the tweet.
