I am excited to announce that my team and I, Edwin ( @altinvestored ), will be taking over the Garbage Friends NFT project. As an avid supporter of the NFT space and a longtime admirer of Garbage Friends, We are thrilled to step into this new role and continue the incredible work that has been done so far.

First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to Markus and his team. They have built an amazing community and laid a strong foundation with their creativity. Though no one is perfect we are committed to honouring their legacy as we move forward.

This transition marks a new chapter for Garbage Friends and Typical Friends, one that will be filled with exciting developments and enhancements.

Why Drama?
A new house? Even if I were to exhaust all the funds from minting and sell my Golden Ape, I still wouldn't be able to afford this house in Hong Kong.

This situation serves as a social experiment that highlights two observations:
1️⃣There is a significant bias against me. Regardless of my actions and words, I am unjustly labeled as a scammer and rugger.
2️⃣Within the Web3 community, there seems to be a preference for drama over actual work.

Don't trust and verify
For those who may be upset about my new house and happen to be my NFT holders, please remember the first rule of Web3: "don't trust and verify." All the funds obtained from minting remain in the treasury to support the development and execution of our vision.

To Fudders
As for unrelated individuals who ridicule, quote my tweets to blame me, capture screenshots to spread hate speech, or post in Discord to spread FUD and launch baseless attacks, I want to make it clear that these individuals are nothing more than clowns, jerks, and losers. They derive pleasure from witnessing others' failures and fail to appreciate the hard work of others. They are too lazy to spend a minute fact-checking or researching, yet they easily spend hours engaging in FUD discussions. They conveniently forget everything else and only care about the current floor price. They hope all founders become homeless, expecting money to magically appear and flow into their own pockets. When they witness someone else's success, they become jealous and spread FUD. They do not contribute; they are merely free riders and represent the cancer of Web3.

I strongly suggest that these individuals leave Web3 as soon as possible, as their toxicity and barriers hinder the progress of Web3. They intentionally quote out of context and engage in FUD tactics to manipulate and deceive their followers in an attempt to discredit others. They demoralize contributors and dishearten founders. They frighten Web2 users and impede the mass market adoption of Web3.

Let's Keep Fighting!
In the current bear market, many individuals are experiencing losses, leading to feelings of sadness and emotional distress. Nevertheless, it is important to acknowledge that cryptocurrencies and web3 technology will persist and endure. I firmly believe that they represent the future generation of technology. Let's come together and collaborate, offering support and encouragement to others.

If you choose not to contribute, that's perfectly fine. However, please refrain from spreading irresponsible FUD that undermines the efforts of those working hard to navigate through these challenging market conditions. Allow them the space to work diligently and persevere, as they prepare for the next bull market.

No Drama Please!
By the way, I have sold my new house. If you happen to visit Hong Kong, search for "The Manta House" and spend a night there to retreat and relax. Share a poolside picture on social media and take a look at those clowns. A cheerful mood will enhance your efficiency.
