Africa's biggest opportunity in Web3 isn't adoption.

But potential alone doesn't build ecosystems.

If Africa wants to become a global Web3 powerhouse, a few things have to change.

First...

We need to stop celebrating token launches more than product launches.

A token isn't a product.

It's only valuable if it powers something people genuinely use.

Second...

We need to invest more in builders than influencers.

Every successful ecosystem is built by developers, designers, researchers, founders, and communities working together—not by hype alone.

Third...

Security has to become a priority.

Building securely isn't optional.

It's foundational.

Fourth...

We need better collaboration.

Governments.

Universities.

Startups.

Developers.

Investors.

Communities.

And start asking,

"What problem can we solve better than anyone else?"
