Most Web3 games lack the actual gameplay 'hook' needed to keep players engaged.

The only 'hook' they rely on is a token, but treating that as the core gameplay loop is always a short lived incentive. On top of that, building exclusively for the web3 space means targeting a significantly smaller audience than the mainstream gaming market.

The upcoming Rebalance of the game economy in @The_Beacon_GG is outrageous

It already very difficult to acquire a kraken chest which has largest $BCN share (the rest of the chests are pretty much useless)

A kraken currently costs 200 Goblonz and it is NOT easy to get 200 goblonz

Here what you have to do to get a Kraken chest

1: Earn 6000 Umbra shards by playing the dungeon (it costs you 140 stamina to get this much).
2: You convert 6000 shards to 200 Locked Goblonz (currently)
3: You play kraken cash which is a gambling game, it is important that u play this to unlock your Goblonz🤣, Yes, the goblonz u previously got are locked which are pretty much useless
4: By playing and unlocking the goblonz, you lose rouughly 20-30% of your goblonz depending on your luck (means u probably need more than 200 locked goblonz > more than 6000 Umbra shards to get enough to open a kraken chest
5: You open a kraken chest and you most probably will get 5 $BCN and you have good luck then you can get up to 210 $BCN

They keep encourging the players to spend more money to buy Glint to get a better chance to get more $BCN

Honestly if they really proceed with this rebalance then I will not advice any new player to get into the Season 1 of Beacon because it is simply not worth it.

@The_Beacon_GG dropped Zone 2 today and the first thing I did in the morning was try to beat it

This was the most intense dungeon I've played so far, it was such a good and nerve wrecking experience😭
