The CLARITY Act didn't advance in the Senate today, which was a disappointment. While it's possible bi-partisan conversations continue and it lives to fight another day, we can't wait on Congress anymore.

The SEC and CFTC have the tools they need to create clear rules under existing authority, and I expect will begin working on this in earnest.

So clarity is coming to crypto regardless.

And of course GENIUS is already the law of the land for stablecoins, which is even more permissive on rewards. There were some concessions we made on CLARITY that were tough to swallow, so perhaps it's for the best.

Crypto can't be uninvented. With clarity emerging through the regulators, we'll continue updating the financial system.

I’ve invested long enough to know that the exciting part usually isn’t buying what everybody already agrees is valuable.

It’s finding something early enough that the market is still debating whether it matters.

That’s why $INDEX is one of my larger Robinhood Chain venture positions.

My thesis is pretty simple:

If tokenized equities become a serious asset class, somebody has to build the infrastructure that makes those assets useful on-chain.

$INDEX is trying to do exactly that — turning tokenized stocks into baskets, markets and an economic layer around the growth of RWAs on Robinhood Chain.

I’m not buying it because of today’s candle.

I’m buying the possibility that Robinhood Chain grows from an experiment into a genuine financial ecosystem — and $INDEX becomes one of the pieces sitting underneath it.

Could I be wrong? Absolutely.

This is venture investing. Some ideas won’t make it.

But when I see a small project attacking a potentially enormous market, building real infrastructure and gaining actual usage, I’m willing to own it before the answer is obvious.

At 58, I’m not looking for another lottery ticket.

I’m looking for asymmetric bets where the downside is defined by what I invest and the upside is defined by what the business might become.

That’s my $INDEX thesis.
