It's a new day for Movement.

For the past year, we rebuilt from the ground up. The L2 to L1 migration in December was the first step. We reached one-second finality and secure smart contracts in Move. Then came Circle, KAST, Avant, and other integrations.

The new Movement is here. But the real story is everything that happened before it.

I joined Movement in October 2024.

I was bullish on the team, bullish on Move. I genuinely believed we were building something that would change the world.

The ride since then has been anything but smooth. I won’t pretend otherwise. There were stretches where my belief was shaken.

But over the past few months, something clicked. It wasn’t overnight. It was a collective moment where we all decided there was no point feeling sorry for ourselves. There are a million L1s out there. The only question that mattered was: what are we actually going to do to be different?

So we got back to work.

The team kicked into overdrive, because we decided our fate was ours to change. And today we’re proud to finally show you the new Movement.

To a passerby it might look like a fresh coat of paint on a few websites. I promise you it couldn’t be further from the truth. This is six months plus of putting in the hours when nobody asked, grinding, and doing everything we could to deliver on crypto’s original vision: banking the unbanked.

That’s why I’m proud to be here. Proud to be bringing payment rails to the countries and communities that need them most. And it’s why I’ve never been more bullish on the people who made this real.

I have to give a special shoutout to @torabyou. Of course it takes a village, but even a village has a leader. Everyone’s work at Movement has been essential to getting us here, but it’s Torab who effectively architected everything you’re seeing today. Without him, none of us would be here.

I’ve never said this publicly, but if he hadn’t stepped in to take over Movement when everything was falling apart, I probably would have left. He’s a true leader in every sense of the word, and it’s an honor to work alongside him every day.

This is just the beginning. Now it’s time to get back to work.

5 years ago I fulfilled my childhood dream of being on Wheel of Fortune.

After watching it religiously every single night with my family, crowded around the TV, I finally got to stand on that stage and meet Pat Sajak and Vanna White. (Both were even kinder than I imagined.)

For non-Americans, this show is a national pillar of entertainment that spans generations. Everyone, and I mean everyone, knows Wheel of Fortune.

I spent weeks obsessively practicing and rewatching old episodes, hunting for any edge I could find.

I read countless articles on the most common letters in puzzles and the way phrases are structured. (This was a lot harder before ChatGPT and Claude.)

Here's the thing about me: I hate losing more than I love winning, and boy do I love winning.

Over the course of the game I hit 3 "Bankrupts" and 1 "Lose a Turn." At one point Pat Sajak looked at me and said, "The wheel wasn't your friend today..." But when it mattered most, the preparation paid off and I solved the final puzzle to edge out the win.

In life you can’t control the wheel (luck) but you can control preparation and hard work. It’s no secret that Movement’s “wheel”hasn’t been great but we are now old friends with adversity.

This past year was spent heads-down at the drawing board, obsessively identifying market gaps and figuring out how to solve real problems at scale.

Movement's "luck" is about to change. And when it does, don't act surprised.
