Jedes Substreams-Modul muss den Block erst dekodieren, bevor es seine Logik ausführt.
Bei vielen parallelen Modulen passiert das Dekodieren also mehrmals.
Schnelleres Dekodieren = spürbar schnellere Backfills und Live-Streams für alle.

prost → buffa. Blocks decode 2.9–4.9x faster.

Real backfills: → uniswap-v4 map_events, 1.5M Ethereum blocks: 342s → 118s → solana-idl-history map_idl_accounts, 1.5M Solana blocks: 846s → 384.5s

Every module decodes the block before it runs a line of its own logic: once per block per module. A chain with 10 active modules decodes every block 10 times over.

Genau diese Entwicklung zeigt, warum die Arbeit von @0xsamgreen und dem @CambrianNetwork-Team so relevant ist.

Während Banken externe Agents blockieren und nur kontrollierte Read-only-Zugänge plus eigene Assistenten anbieten, baut Cambrian die Daten- und Intelligence-Schicht, die Agents brauchen, um on-chain überhaupt sinnvoll und risiko-bewusst agieren zu können.

Die Banken versuchen die Agenten-Schicht zu kontrollieren und ihre Einlagenbasis zu schützen – on-chain läuft die Entwicklung parallel weiter.

Dass Sam und sein Team die Landscape regelmäßig kartieren und die Infrastruktur dafür liefern, macht den Unterschied zwischen „Banken sagen Nein“ und „Agentic Finance passiert trotzdem“.
