day 30 of speedrunning an app to $10k MRR in a localized market:
final numbers: ~$8k sales, 8k downloads
if we replicated the system across 20+ similar countries, that’s a $100k+ MRR added. so yeah, the potential of localized markets is real
but... it's not all sunshine. once we scaled ad spend, ROAS dropped fast, there just aren’t enough people ready to buy cold. this model clearly works better as a long-term play w/ organic nurturing + retargeting = steady rev.
and right now, that would take more energy than it’s worth. so for november, we’re pivoting focus back to the US. it’s time to double down and conquer
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION
(if everyone knew this the world would look completely different. i'm 21 and I lived with buddhist monks in thailand. this knowledge changed my entire perspective on what's actually possible for humans)
here's why all these successful people constantly talk about meditation
consciousness is the field everything emerges from. your brain, your thoughts, the entire physical universe > all of it springs from this deeper level of pure awareness
for years scientists kept digging deeper into matter trying to find the fundamental building blocks. molecules became atoms became subatomic particles became quantum fields
they discovered the unified field, the source from which all particles and forces emerge
pure consciousness has qualities that would blow our mind if we experienced them directly. infinite creativity, intelligence, energy, love, PEACE
meditation is a technology for accessing this level directly
you use a specific sound vibration (called mantra) that turns your attention inward. not concentration, not trying to control anything. the mind naturally settles deeper because each level feels more satisfying than the surface
when you transcend completely, you experience pure consciousness with no object of experience. no thoughts, no sensations, no sense of time or space. just infinite aware silence
it's the most awake you can possibly be because you're awake to the source of wakefulness itself
the crazy part is what happens when you come back to normal thinking
those qualities of pure consciousness start growing in your daily life. creativity, intelligence, love, energy. they expand because you're watering them at the root level
meanwhile all the surface level problems start dissolving. stress, anxiety, depression, anger. they can't survive in the light of expanded consciousness
it's not that you become some blissed out zombie who can't function in the world. you become more effective because you're operating from a deeper level of coherence
your mind becomes like a laser instead of a scattered flashlight. focused, powerful, precise
but this goes way beyond personal development
consciousness isn't just individual. we're all waves on the same ocean of awareness. when you enliven pure consciousness in yourself, it radiates outward and affects everyone around you
research shows that when just the square root of 1% of any population practices this technique, measurable changes occur in that area. crime drops, violence decreases, social coherence increases
it sounds impossible until you understand that consciousness is the fundamental field underlying everything. change the field and you change what emerges from it
this is why the world could look completely different if enough people accessed this level
imagine trying to create peace through violence versus creating peace through consciousness. one approach has never worked in human history, the other works every time it's properly applied
most people are trying to solve problems at the level where the problems exist. that's like trying to change your reflection by adjusting the mirror instead of changing yourself
the real action is always at the source level
pure consciousness is the source of all thought, all creativity, all intelligence, all love. when you regularly dive to that level, you're upgrading the operating system
and it's not spme mystical bullshit. it's the most practical thing possible because it addresses life at the level where life actually originates
consciousness creates reality, not the other way around
most people spend their entire lives convinced they're separate individuals competing for limited resources in a hostile universe
when you taste pure consciousness directly, you realize that's all a dream. separation is the illusion. unity is the reality
you can't hurt another person without hurting yourself because at the deepest level there is no "other person." there's just one consciousness appearing as many
yes this sounds like philosophy but becomes the most obvious thing in the world when you experience
when meditating you're learning to access the source code of existence itself
every great breakthrough in human history came from someone diving deep enough to touch this level of pure potential and bringing something back
instead of trying to force solutions from the surface level of thinking, you dive to the source where all possibilities exist in potential form
then you act from that level of infinite creativity and intelligence
problems don't get solved, they dissolve. goals don't get achieved, they unfold naturally through aligned action
this is what enlightenment actually means. the practical result of operating from the deepest level of your own nature
most people will never learn this because they're too busy managing symptoms (instead of causes)
but consciousness is the ultimate cause. everything else is effect
if you understand this at a deep level, you understand the secret that mystics and quantum physicists have been pointing toward for centuries
reality is consciousness appearing as form. when you know yourself as the consciousness rather than just the form, everything changes
touching that level regularly is the difference between living on the surface of life and diving into the infinite depths of what you actually are
THE FUTURE OF REALITY AND HOW TO BEAT IT
(i'm 21 and have spent the last 4 years obsessing over game design, human psychology, and the future. this tweet will change how you see everything if your iq is above room temperature)
most people have no idea what's coming and they're going to get left behind hard
teenagers will grind games for 12 hours straight but can't stick to a workout routine for 2 weeks
the game destroys their sleep schedule while the gym would build their body
yet the game wins every single time
what makes virtual progress more addictive than real progress?
games figured out something about human motivation that the real world never bothered to learn
when you play a game you can see every single point of experience you gain in real time. you watch your character get stronger. you see exactly where you rank compared to other players. you know exactly what you need to do next and what you'll get for doing it
meanwhile in real life you go to the gym for 3 months and can barely tell if anything changed. you study for years before seeing any payoff. you work hard at your job and have no idea if it matters or when you'll get promoted
games give you immediate feedback, visible progress, clear rules, safe failure, and constant rewards
real life gives you delayed gratification, invisible progress, unclear objectives, permanent consequences, and rare recognition
so obviously the game feels better
but here's what most people miss -> you can steal these mechanics and inject them into reality
instead of trying to "build discipline" you can literally design your life like a video game
make your progress visible with tracking apps and dashboards. create streaks and chains you don't want to break. set up clear win conditions instead of vague goals like "get better at writing" try "write 500 words every day for 90 days"
give yourself artificial constraints to make decisions easier. limit your daily goals to just 3 things maximum
when you have infinite options you get paralyzed
create safe ways to fail where missing one day doesn't destroy all your progress. treat setbacks like respawns, not permanent death
start calling yourself the thing before you deserve it. if you want to be a writer, start saying "i'm a writer" today. identity shapes behavior faster than willpower
the deeper insight is that games are fundamentally attention capture systems
they're built to grab your focus and hold it for as long as possible
if you can learn to direct your own attention on command, you've basically hacked the matrix
but let me tell you where this is all heading because most people are completely blind to what's coming
we're moving toward a world that looks like ready player one except it's not science fiction anymore
ar and vr are about to go mainstream in a massive way. ai and robots will handle most of the work humans do today. the majority of people will spend most of their time in digital worlds because those worlds will be more rewarding, more beautiful, and more socially connected than physical reality
think about what humans actually need and want -> we want to matter, to belong, to have control over our lives, to see ourselves growing, to go on adventures, to feel like our life has a story, to be fully present in meaningful moments
right now getting those things in real life is hard and unreliable
you chase significance through money and status but it's slow and fragile. belonging depends on geography and luck. control is limited by genetics and circumstances. growth is invisible. adventure carries real risk. most people's lives feel plotless and random
but in a fully developed metaverse all of those needs get satisfied on demand
your significance gets quantified in real time through rankings and achievements. belonging becomes instant - join any community, find your tribe across any boundary. you can redesign your identity overnight. every action gets tracked and celebrated. adventure has infinite variety with no real consequences. your life has built-in story structure through quests and progression
it sounds incredible and in many ways it will be
but there are massive risks most people aren't thinking about
inequality is going to compound faster than ever. the people who get early access, who understand the systems, who have natural advantages - they're going to dominate even harder than they do now. think about how much power the top streamers and content creators have today, then multiply that by 1000
whoever controls the infrastructure of these digital worlds owns human attention completely. if meta or tencent or some other massive corporation owns the metaverse, they can shape every experience you have for profit
the better these digital worlds feel, the worse physical reality will seem by comparison. people might just ignore climate change, infrastructure problems, politics -> anything that requires dealing with the messy physical world
and there's a psychological risk too. if meaning and feedback become systematized, if every experience is optimized for engagement, humans might start feeling less alive. sometimes struggle and unpredictability are what make us feel most human
here's the thing - people who have agency, creativity, and the ability to adapt quickly are going to win in any system. the metaverse just makes everything happen faster and more visibly
the question isn't whether this future is good or bad. the question is who gets to write the rules
because whoever controls the infrastructure of digital reality controls human experience
so how do you position yourself to win?
first, understand that curation becomes more valuable than creation when everyone can make anything. taste and the ability to filter signal from noise will be the ultimate currency
second, learn to build and control narratives. humans don't follow data, they follow stories. the people who can weave experiences into compelling mythologies will have massive influence
third, practice coordination. the biggest wins come from being able to move groups of people toward common goals. individual brilliance is good, but organizing communities is better
fourth, play at multiple levels. don't just participate in the games, understand how to build tools that help others play, create economies on top of the existing ones, zoom out from playing the game to owning pieces of the game
fifth, stay authentically human. the more digital everything becomes, the more rare and valuable genuine human connection becomes. presence, charisma, emotional depth - these things can't be automated or copied
here's what you should actually do starting today
consume information more selectively. less noise, more depth. follow people who are building the future, not just commenting on it
create consistently. start building your own following and reputation. develop your taste and voice. you want to be someone people trust to filter the good stuff
practice leading small groups. coordinate projects with friends. test out different ways of motivating people and building community
zoom out regularly and ask yourself what game you're actually playing. are you just consuming or are you building? are you following or are you leading?
most importantly, cultivate the things that virtual worlds can't replicate
deep connection to nature and your physical body. the ability to build and fix things in the real world. emotional intelligence and presence. these become luxury goods in a digital-first world
games teach us something profound about human psychology that most people miss
they give us permission to care about something without feeling stupid
nobody judges you for grinding a video game for 8 hours straight and celebrating when you finally beat a difficult boss. but if you spend 8 hours writing or learning a skill or working on something meaningful, people think you're obsessed
games create what i call "shared seriousness" - the community agrees that the virtual achievements matter, so they actually do matter within that context
in real life most things feel weightless because there's no community agreement about what's important
games also have clear boundaries and safe failure. you know the rules, you know what happens if you mess up, and you can always try again
real life has fuzzy boundaries and consequences that feel permanent
but here's the paradox: games create fake stakes that generate real emotions. real life creates real stakes that we experience with fake emotions because we're too distracted and anxious to be present
the answer isn't to gamify everything in your life. that flattens the mystery and removes the texture that makes life beautiful
the real insight is learning how to create temporary containers of meaning. frameworks you can step into for a specific period of time - maybe a 90 day challenge, or a ritual with friends, or a specific project with clear objectives
you want just enough structure to turn infinite possibility into forward momentum, but not so much that you lose flexibility and spontaneity
and when that container has served its purpose, you let it go and build a new one
that's how you dance with reality in a way that honors both the game-like aspects of motivation and the deeper mystery of being human
treat every phase of your life as both a game worth playing seriously and something bigger than any game could contain
the future belongs to people who can move fluidly between these different levels of reality without getting trapped in any single one
most people are going to get stuck either completely rejecting the digital world or completely escaping into it
the winners will be the ones who can play in both worlds while building bridges between them
if you understand this now while most people are still confused about what's happening, you have a massive head start
use it wisely
Beautiful shift, I kinda like how they did this whole thing.
Hormozi style, but instead of assigning fake value numbers, they showed how much it's worth by literally SELLING it, and THEN making it free.
Good job guys, keep going!
Alex Hormozi just broke every sales record selling a $30 book.
$100M revenue in one day. 3.5 million copies in 72 hours. Guinness World Record.
