The era of the 10 minute flips might finally be coming to an end.
For a while, the playbook was simple, tracked wallets buy, copy traders ape, coin pumps to 1M in minutes…then dies.
If it didn’t get those tracked wallet buys, it’d cap out at 100-200k and bleed to zero. Everything was a one-time pump. Get in, get out, next.
But the pattern is slowly changing.
Coins are now grinding through 100-300k, chopping there for a day or two, going through a redistribution phase, then pushing to the next leg. They’re doing multiple redistributions before they even touch 1M purely because traders are conditioned to sell at those levels. The hypertraders get shaken out, bag workers work their bags and the coin keeps going.
This is actually how markets are supposed to work.
The old behavior explained the low ceilings perfectly. Nobody was building conviction, nobody was working their bags, everyone just bought, watched for 5-10 minutes, and if tracked wallets didn’t push it immediately, they nuked and rotated. A coin doesn’t go up because you bought it. It goes up because you create a reason for others to buy. That means narrative, believers, bull-posters, content, attention, etc.
And here’s what accelerates the behavior shift, fomo. When these coins that got sold for pennies keep grinding and push to real numbers, the hypertraders who paper handed early sit on the sidelines feeling max pain.
They watched it redistribute, called it dead, moved on and now it’s 10x from where they sold. That pain is a teacher. Do it enough times and people start to reconsider the strategy. They start holding longer, contributing more, because they’ve felt what it costs not to.
When people stop treating every trade like a 10 minute lottery ticket and start actually building around what they hold, the ceiling moves. That’s the shift. And if it holds, we should start seeing multiples that haven’t been possible in a while.
Believe in something.
