Everyone thinks Solana's Double Disinflation vote is bullish because fewer SOL will hit the market.
I think that's the least interesting consequence of it.
Solana just made a much bigger bet on its own economy.
Here's why 🧵
If fees, MEV and onchain demand keep growing, that's an extremely powerful transition.
Instead of paying for security mainly through dilution, more of the network's economics come from actual usage.
Less dilution.
More value retained by SOL holders.
A stronger monetary asset.
But that only works if the activity is there.

Here's why 🧵
This is the part I find most interesting.
Solana just voted to reduce the subsidy it pays to secure the network.
At the same time, the proposal to massively increase fee burns failed.
So Solana is effectively making a bet:
that real economic activity can gradually replace issuance.
Not in my name 🫡
Feels like we're entering an interesting part of the cycle.
Nobody talks about airdrop farming anymore.
And historically, that's exactly when I want to start paying attention — before the next Hyperliquid-sized opportunity becomes obvious and everyone starts farming it.
Meanwhile, attention is rotating hard into memecoins, and now we're starting to see DeFi infrastructure being built around them.
MemeFi?
Might be worth studying both while nobody cares.
At least I am not the only one to put Hyperliquid so high on the podium. I called it in february 2024, got paid a crazy airdrop, sold at 30, bought back at 12, and the rest is history.
@VikingoDigital_ I developped an unpopular opinion where Hype could flip ETH. People don't like it. But people are calling the coins when they are on top. I call them when they're early birds.
