After 2 months of preparation and extensive organizing with the most incredible human beings and team @babyberafinance & @The_HoneyCast, the vision I longed for way back in Bogotá 2022 was brought to life.

At this point, I've been to countless conference events, raves, festivals and more. But nothing truly hit the spot when it came to throwing a REAL RAVE or came close to having good music.

For those who don't know, in my past life, pre-crypto, I was heavily involved in the music industry, throwing underground raves in unconventional locations, managing artists, and even contributing to throwing a grassroots festival.

In Bogotá at the end of @EFDevcon 2022, a good friend of mine, @NicosMod, and I went on a schitzo tangent about what the ideal crypto event would look like. Obviously, we started listing the key things to not only put on a great show but also harmoniously bring non-crypto and crypto people into the same space. We listed world-class sound systems (Funktion One's, PK's, VOIDs, etc...) Peak artists: Tipper, Deep Dark & Dangerous Artists, Eprom, and countless others, legendary VJs, venues like the BlackBox in Denver, and most importantly a crowd full of wooks and REAL RAVERS.

Let's be honest: any "CrYpTo RaVe" you've experienced over the past couple of years has been underwhelming, music was the same progressive/tech house you've heard the whole week, lines to the bars were atrocious, and everybody was from the last party you were at pitching the same project. No "rave" has been able to achieve the perfect atmosphere + vibe and balance of majority real ravers and perhaps 30% of crypto people.

Fast forward to ETH Denver this year, Baby, Tez, and I achieved what has never been done before in this space. With over 850 people attending the event, probably closer to 900+ (1550+ of which signed up), more than 50% of the attendees were non-crypto people. REAL RAVERS, REAL WOOKS, THE REAL DENVER ARTISTS, THE REAL UNDERGROUND MUSIC SCENE! + We brought out @DanceSafe, which we've all experienced at our fair share of events, to provide harm reduction + safe raving necessities and educational resources.

I was blessed to have stumbled upon two fellow crypto/rave homies along the circuit who connected me with not only NOVA Studios but Backleft, which led us to carefully curate a perfect Glitch-hop/uptempo/140 lineup. @backleftmusic + Friends (@aznadelmusic, Fika, and Manfish) Additionally, we managed to fly out rising Toronto native @Dazeylanez, as our only international act, to perfectly bridge the start of the night from Octave Cat's (a legendary band) 3-piece live Rave Set into the deeper heavier chunes that were MADE for Funktion Ones. (p.s. Band members of Octave Cat worked with @babyberafinance + @miberamaker333 on sum real cool stuff) Also massive shoutout to @doogan69 for starting the night off with great vibes.

Without @0xberg and @hollowgrahm none of this would've been possible. Huge love to those two Denver local legends. Not only did we manage to tap into the up-and-coming artists of Denver but also legendary VJs like Dave Actualize, Spectrumone, Ozwvld, MegaPixel + more to bring the visual aspect of the rave to life and integrate our sponsors' assets to converge the two worlds together aesthetically.

Overall, I am forever grateful to the Denver community for showing love, coming out to BERAVE, and sharing the space with the crypto community, who love to rave and those who have never experienced what a REAL RAVE was.

We did something special by properly engaging with and activating the local communities to not only support the local scene but converge the two prominent cultures together harmoniously into one shared space to Realize an Alternative Vision of Earth (R.A.V.E).
