In 2020, when oil went to -37.63 a barrel, I took physical delivery of 1,000 barrels of oil and everyone laughed at me.
They have been sitting in my backyard for 6 years.
Now, a barrel of oil is worth more than $100. They’re not laughing now.
I know I'm risking trouble with this interview.
My guest showed how to use a cheap Claude subscription for OpenClaw instead of paying the high API fees.
It could violate Claude's TOS.
WHY I DID IT:
1. Big players are telling me PRIVATELY that they're doing it.
2. Regular people are paying $100s or $1,000s / month in API fees to use INFERIOR AI models
3. At the Claude Code event, dozens of hands went up when I asked all the attendees if they did this
4. I could not find a clear rule against it
5. I tested it on a throwaway account and it works fine
It sucks that people are gatekeeping.
