While we flattered by the overwhelming response of bullishness on Ethos' Ethos Listings,

it acts as a vampire pulling votes from other projects who deserve them

We've delisted Ethos from Ethos Listings out of respect for other projects there.

Ethos listings auction #2 is LIVE

- The last listing went UNUSED and is on Opensea for 30e

- Will this one go to a project or an agency to use on an upcoming project they want to drive attention to?

- or will it go to a community member who puts their fav project on Listings?

[Ethos @ethos_network]

👋 Massive change to Ethos scores → Non-users with "reputable followers" just got a HUGE credibility boost

This will significantly normalize Ethos data, making it even more reliable than before.

Congrats to @Shatt_Eth on the purchase of Ethos Listing #2 for 0.9e

Will he hold it?
Will he use it on a project?
Will he donate to a project he loves?

I guess we'll see..
See you for the next auction in 2 weeks!

[Serpin Taxt @serpinxbt]

internally we experiment a lot with how the @ethos_network score helps with spam/slop filtering

> we pay $7k/mo in gas for our users
> our reviews/slashes have LOADS of low qual content

we will eliminate 75% of that spend (& slop) by hiding / not paying gas for those < 1300

[Ethos @ethos_network]

🚨 A community proposal for EIP-9 from @publius_val

> Do not allow removal of reviews/vouches for targets of Slashes, during a slash vote

This would be a big change to how these penalties work..
