@tszzl It’s x algo tweaks. Everyone is vaguely interested enough in GoT to give these posts a little of their time. I’m seeing this shit everywhere all of a sudden, feels == other micro trends you need to manually eject from
Only route it to buy the things that 1) ais will need for coordination / to achieve things (raw mats, crypto?) and 2) products/services that intelligent people / orgs rely on, that solve problems hard for lower intelligence humans to conceive / value. Can’t model a super intelligence but we can align with what the most intelligent humans think/do to align as best we can.
@art___art__@ChrisBlec How is it a first principle? Decentralisation is beneficial because it confers neutrality / censorship resistance - if those can be guaranteed without it what’s lost?
@arthuredelstein@ESYudkowsky We know there are better algorithms. The human brain doesn’t need to consume everything on the internet and require the power of 100 suns to be able to output at a better level than gpt4.
@arthuredelstein@ESYudkowsky Assumes other efficiencies won’t be met. Like suggesting that for early humans to create microchips they’d be bottlenecked by the rate they can create stone tools, and extrapolating that we’d need billions of masons.
