1/ 🗣️ CALLING ALL STUCK WRITERS, WANNABE WRITERS, HUMANS WHO KNOW THEY HAVE A BUNCH OF BANGER STORIES INSIDE THEM THEY NEED TO GET OUT.
Is this you? Hi. Welcome. Please read on.
Shout out to my @0xFoster crew for being amazing humans who consistently show up for each other in the gaping void that is the internet. Been five years!
Seeing lots of talk about the magic of writing hitting the TL and seems like a good time to remind folks that @0xFoster offers free writing circles, which are facilitated containers for dropping into what feels most alive and writing from that place.

Yo! Come move your fire and write with me next week!
Even if you don’t consider yourself an “angry person” you can pretend to be and it works!
We will dance and make sounds and complain and beg and write words and share them and celebrate.

at the end of the day it's a practice of giving people back to themselves. in this world where people are constantly trying to persuade you to buy something to fill a void, what's more beautiful than that? PROUD MAMA here.
Ok, finally built something I've been meaning to build for a bit now during a nighttime hacking session tonight.
With @0xFoster writing circles, we do a somatic checkin before doing a meditation and then getting into our writing. I love that practice, and find that it helps my writing quite a bit.
But when I'm not led in that practice, I don't do it on my own.
So, as part of the Engineering Generosity lab I've been building, I'm adding in a new tool: a document editor that asks me to check in before then giving me a blank document to write in.
I'm also setting it up to be fully searchable by inserting documents into a vector database. That's going to let me do some interesting things going forward, where I'll be able to find and add in bits and pieces of previous writing.
If you are interested in getting access to this tool, either sign up at https://t.co/ZEnP9kaDDI for the paid tier, or you can pre-order access here: https://t.co/jaDHSEwMAW
(trying to set up presales more often so I don't build out large apps before actually validating demand, haha)
Here's a quick demo of the tool in action:
1st draft is finished and submitted for editing by the wonderful @0xFoster team!
Let me know if you want to read the draft and share any feedback with me
Took the energy from the closing session @0xFoster and poured it into a draft for my newsletter.
And then, the real improvement: instead of hitting publish, I sent it to the editors.
I want this to be a good one. It's my personal story and why I am focused on abundant systems
