Reminder that Base is actively working to bring native AA to the EVM. Our belief is EIP-8130 is the best way to do it.
Would love to chat with other teams (apps, infra, chains) interested in collaborating on this! https://t.co/2hA4dWRZ6s
@ryanberckmans another dimension to this is the emergence of EIP-8130 which serves as kind of a middle ground between tempo transactions and 8141. its simplicity results in a lower cost to implement and integrate. it may be the least risky path forward for PQ ethereum. https://t.co/9IuLdNAX7a
@_prestwich certainly would be just about the fastest path to PQ!
but i think the community is also trying to solve for AA. i think there's a middle ground here
the problem with 8141 is that it's far more complicated than the ecosystem is willing to support
7702 is a year old, and still basically unsupported by hardware wallets
we have 5 years to migrate EVERY ethereum user
frame transactions integration hell will consume 2-3 years
@URozmej@GiulioRebuffo@CPerezz19 8130 is an improvement over 8141 in this regard. similar to schemed txs it has stateless verification, but also has a path forward for other tablestakes AA features
