The Interstate One monorepo is now open source. It's not ready for deployment yet, but you can check it out if you are interested in how it works.

The Dharma team has been wonderful to work with and we're excited to take part in scaling Ethereum.
Looking forward to everyone's feedback on this tasty dessert!
Over the last two months, we have collaborated closely with @0xinterstate on developing a practical layer-two system for scaling peer-to-peer payments on Ethereum.
Today, we're excited to open-source Tiramisu — our implementation of this system.

Since we launched peer-to-peer payments, scaleability has morphed from a theoretical problem for us to a pressing concern.
So we're embarking on building a practical L2 payments system based on the Optimistic Roll-Up paradigm.

@Stan_Kladko@RyanSAdams If you do change your mind we can offer a generic interface (an on-chain evm hypervisor) for your validator network to produce evm rollups @jackoholleran
It was very exciting to share our vision and technology with the @harmonyprotocol, thanks for the invite @stse. One of the best engineer teams in the space! 👍👍👍
Slide from @VitalikButerin's talk on Beyond 51% Attacks, at #SBC20.
Most sharding designs today rely on committees, which may lead to censorship issues. We can go beyond committees by relying only on data availability checks for security.
We're building this at @lazyledger_io.
"What's up with rollup?" Look no further and read this amazing article from @DZack23 about the great work that is being done by excellent teams from @optimismPBC@offchain@0xinterstate Barry Whitehat , @CelerNetwork and more great teams that I haven't met in person yet!
Last but not least, I want to highlight all the other incredible teams working hard to bring rollups to reality: @offchain@the_matter_labs@fuellabs_@0xinterstate@idexio. They're all doing incredible work & worth a follow to stay updated on rapid scalability progress.
introducing @0xinterstate a tokenless Ethereum sidechain with evm fraud proofs for generic execution and optimistic rollups for data availability
Basically an evm shard that runs smart contracts at 100+ tps with minimal code changes. $eth scales Q1 2020!🥳https://t.co/lpBiQgoCgO

@musalbas@jbrukh@optimism@fuellabs_ @lazyledger_io Thanks for the RT. Note that's just one idea. We're also excited by eth 2.0 progress, and it's going to bring immediate increase in throughput for rollups!

@jbrukh@optimism@fuellabs_ While we and other rollups can scale eth1 to hundreds or thousands of tps, there is a finite limit of thoroughput eth1 can support for data availability.
So an idea is to use rollups with a blockchain optimized for data availability, see @lazyledger_io https://t.co/LgcUJnPFwy
@jbrukh@fuellabs_@optimism @lazyledger_io You can build a decentralized liquidity provider to provide exits.
Future think -> users enter sidechain with base token, do all their stuff cuz gas is cheap, and exit to mainnet for "cold storage". Potentially most exits will be in eth
eth pool to charge fees and split them
@FigoFinozeros@nigeon@antiprosynth It is very possible in the future that users enter trustless sidechains like ISN via $eth, do all the stuff (trading, gaming, compute) on the sidechain because gas is very cheap, and then exit to mainnet for "cold storage"
OR can become defi on-ramps thanks to its security!

@FigoFinozeros@nigeon@antiprosynth While it is true that there is a withdrawal confirmation period mentioned in the article (varies by implementation), we think it sets up a crypto-native business model of liquidity providers that will provide fast exits for a small fee.
