NFT floor prices are up, but holder count isn't moving at the same pace.

For example, BAYC floor price is up +128% over the last 30 days.

Holder count barely moved (+0.63%).

Many of the buyers have been existing holders, or at least wallets already active in the space.

There is no fresh blood coming into the NFT market yet, which can be interpreted in two ways:

1) It's a hot potato game in which the same, small group of people buying and selling to each other.

2) There is plenty of room to grow once actual new players come in.

As NFTs are moving again, people are going to rush into collections they haven't looked at in two years just because the floor ticked up 10%.

Before you buy anything, ask yourself three questions.

Where has the founder been for the last 12 months? If the answer is silent until last week, that tells you everything.

Is there still a community? Not a Discord with 50,000 members and zero messages, but an actual living, breathing community that shows up daily.

What's been shipped? Not promised, but shipped, and if you can't find real progress since mint, you already have your answer.

The teams that have been building through the bear don't need to announce a comeback.

They never fucking left.

Put your money behind those projects instead.
