I had always loved Orthodoxy as a Catholic & pretty much viewed it as an equal expression of the apostolic faith. However, when I accidentally stumbled upon the St. Photios shrine back in 2016 (in St. Augustine, Flordia) filled w/ the relics of the apostles & iconography, something happened inside of me, and I knew I had to begin taking Orthodox claims (& approach to worship) much more seriously. Over the next 4 years, I began reading more Orthodox literature (ancient & modern), studying the medieval Catholic/Orthodox debates, praying the Jesus prayer, and fasting on Wed & Fri. By 2020, I asked my wife if our family could consider Orthodoxy (I was currently working for our parish as a youth minister & Catholic high school theology teacher so it came as a shock). It took some time, but by 2023, she said she was ready and we began attending Divine Liturgy by the end of the year. I've never had all of the answers, but I knew that Orthodoxy was the most integrated, Christ-centered approach to Christianity still around today and that it had the greatest continuity w/ the 'eco-system' of fathers and first millennium.
St. Photios and St. Augustine, pray for us!
@Abunajohn This is an objectively incorrect statement. Jay Dyer is nearly singlehandedly responsible for the influx of young men at parishes across America.
One thing that really weirded me out this month is that I thought the “ETH hate” was kind of a posture for some, a persona, some kind of friendly banter like in a football match. Lore even.
But no.
Most of you unironically hate that shit. Like. You really hope that the second biggest cryptocurrency, the second biggest individual onboarder in all of crypto, probably first if you consider many demographics, the home of digital art, the place where DeFi was born and where it still largely resides, you really want it to fail and you think that’d be good for the space?
Why?
And what the fuck is wrong with you besides some upsidedown form of insecure bag protection?
There were four classes of persons who emerged from Covid:
1. Pretenders who said one thing (in best-seller books no less), then abandoned those words/principles when push came to shove. I threw their books in the trash.
2. Narrative ninnies who cowered under fear and lashed out, screaming at everyone else to conform. They continue to do so even now. You shall know them by their mouth-frothing.
3. Misanthropes who sought to exploit the opportunity to conduct harm of the innocent and make some cash in the process. Notice their habit gravitates to this same pattern through time.
4. People who did not alter message, and acted in accordance with that message, standing in the gap on behalf of the innocent - despite threats to their selves and familes.
Less than 1% exist in that fourth group.
“This is like 1971 when the dollar left gold.”

Ethereum is becoming Wall Street’s new tech stack.

I have zero respect for motherf*ckers who speak in riddles. If you have special market knowledge or insight, you can say it directly, in a way that any 5 year old can understand. You intellectually hide behind the vagueness so that when you're wrong, you'll just claim it meant something else.
@RareEvo@IOHK_Charles@Cardano@ethereum@AltcoinDaily@VitalikButerin A short list of things that Vitalik does not ever think about:
1. Charles Hoskinson
2. Rare Evo grifting
3. Altcoin Daily grifting
4. People claiming to be “ethereum killers” for false equivalence and attention.
You’re a bunch of grifters and it’s never happening.
eth has to be the most mispriced asset in history holy shit. like etfs need 37m tokens yearly but only 880k gets issued and every exchange is down to emergency reserves.
Nick Fuentes stream last night was the best show he ever did. If you don't have time to watch the full 3 hours, here is the final 12 minutes where he summarizes his entire talk and closes with a bang. I really like this guy, a lot. If the glowies do whack Nick, we will complete his mission.
This is the most important CIA web exposed by Nick Fuentes last night.
Irving Kristol, was a neocon Trotskyite jew ✡️ who worked in/with the CIA.
He founded an organization designed to fund early college papers to influence thoughts and ideas. It’s called the Institute for Educational Affairs. Think of it as a way to scoop up college talent and bring them into the CIA/Neocon Jew fold. Who did he fund?
-University of Chicago magazine- Counterpoint - John Podhoretz ✡️ Jew (1979)
-the Princeton Tory- Yoram Hazony ✡️ Jew (1984)
- the Stanford Review- Peter Thiel (likely CIA-1987)
- the Dartmouth Review- Dinesh D’Souza (likely CIA)
- the entire IEA was eventually taken over by William F Buckley’s organization (likely CIA in 1995)
-Where did Tucker Carlson first work (likely CIA) for Bill Kristol (Neocon Jew and son of the godfather of this operation) ✡️ at the Weekly Standard
THIS IS THE MATRIX. When you are reading your student newspaper, it’s influenced by Jews/cia. When you turn on your television, it’s influenced by Jews/cia. When you open your textbook it’s approved by a jewish publisher. When you take a company public, jewish Wall Street takes their cut. When your congressman wants to speaks out about it, Jeffrey Epstein blackmails them. And what looks to the normie like a bunch of disconnected people fighting each other, is really a well connected network running the western world for jewish interests…
economic security ATH & 10x flippening
Ethereum: $150B
= 35.7M ETH × $4.2K/ETH
Bitcoin: $15B
= 1B TH/s × $15/(TH/s)
Ethereum is the embodiment of security. 100% uptime. Rich client diversity. 8K consensus participants. Massive slashable economic security. There is no second best.
BTW @saylor—offer still stands. Let's debate Bitcoin's security. You can't outrun fundamentals: halvings gut the security budget, fees are 1% of miner revenue ☠️
